Happy New Year Dear Friends.
I wish wonderful blessings for you and hope that you have all you need and more this year.
There were many things swirling around for me at the beginning of the year and nothing quite settling into place until this week. I had expectations that various projects would have been finalized by the end of 2014 and already moving forward by January 1, but that wasn't the case. I had to pause and take it moment by moment and enjoy the process even though it wasn't moving fast enough for my liking.
So, I decided to like it, this forced pause - to stay present and if I had to wait, which apparently I did, I might as well enjoy waiting as much as possible.
I was really thrilled about everything that was almost happening. I was just at the very edge of the beginning of several things which I had set in motion months ago. Hopefully, it would be only a brief pause before everything would surely begin. Much like the pause when you hold your breath in anticipation coming to the crest of that first huge plunge on a roller coaster. The ride down is the point of waiting in the long line and that pause at the top can seem so much longer than it really is as you anticipate the exciting part of the ride.
My "pause" wasn't idol time. I took care of those things I could to keep moving in the right direction, made sure to stay in the present and enjoy where I was at that moment in the process.
It reminded me of Dr. Wayne Dyer's New Year's note to us all on FB. I've heard parts of it many times in different ways, Much of it I practice and teach, but his words are a wonderful reminder. We all need reminders at times and this is a well written one that may inspire you as it does me.
Here it is if you aren't on FB or perhaps didn't see it.
And, may you have the most wonderful and present moments in 2015, which by December 31st, will have added up to a fantastic year for you.
